Book Design

The book Beatles is a popular Norwegian book for young readers. The story takes place in Oslo and reflects a troubled everyday life for young people. I wanted to make the book more playful, to meet the target audience better. When i read the book, i found this great quote which I think describes Oslo and the book in a good way. I liked it so much that I wanted to put it on the front of the book. I’ve also written Beatles, like writing in a notebook.

The process was long to reach the finish line of this project. I tried a lot of techniques to meet the target audience. Here are som of the variations.
